A former soldier is thrown into a brutal race against time when a critical medical delivery makes him and his unlikely partner the targets of a ruthless cartel. Putting Runner on the weekend list. How much attention does it need on a first watch?

fionninwicklow · 26 Oct 2026, 12:08 UTC

Ronan, i am following this thread for exactly that reason. Happy to hear a few different opinions.

roisinreads · 26 Oct 2026, 03:08 UTC

Runner is one I am weighing up. Leaving a boost while I decide. The hard bit is narrowing the list down to just one.

eoininmayo · 26 Oct 2026, 17:08 UTC

Roisin, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

For anyone considering Runner: Would love to hear a different take too. The interesting picks are often the ones people split on.
