Violet Evergarden: The Movie is on the shortlist now. Would people recommend subtitles over dubbing when there is a choice?

darraghreads · 16 Oct 2026, 23:08 UTC

Aisling, i have added a boost too. Would be interesting to see how it sits beside the other choices.

Violet Evergarden: The Movie is one I am weighing up. I would like to see this in the six with a few very different choices around it.

Orla, i am following this thread for exactly that reason. Happy to hear a few different opinions.

For anyone considering Violet Evergarden: The Movie: This would be a good change of pace from the things currently at the top of my list.
