Synopsis

Struggling to find his place in the world while juggling school and family, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales is unexpectedly bitten by a radioactive spider and develops unfathomable powers just like the one and only Spider-Man. While wrestling with the implications of his new abilities, Miles discovers a super collider created by the madman Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk, causing others from across the Spider-Verse to be inadvertently transported to his dimension.

I am tempted by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Is this one where watching the trailer would give too much away?

roisininwicklow · 20 Oct 2026, 02:08 UTC

Caoimhe, a film-club style conversation afterwards could be good, even when people disagree.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one I am weighing up. Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.

Saoirse, yes, a spoiler-free discussion would be ideal. I am trying not to look too much up beforehand.

For anyone considering Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: This is the sort of choice I might miss without someone putting it forward.
