Synopsis

A burger-loving hit man, his philosophical partner, a drug-addled gangster's moll and a washed-up boxer converge in this sprawling, comedic crime caper. Their adventures unfurl in three stories that ingeniously trip back and forth in time.

Curious about Pulp Fiction. Would you call it a relaxed evening pick or something to save for the right mood?

darragh_quinn · 18 Oct 2026, 14:08 UTC

Aoife, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

cianryan · 18 Oct 2026, 05:08 UTC

Pulp Fiction is one I am weighing up. Could someone add a spoiler-free note about the opening? That is usually what helps me choose.

caoimhereads · 18 Oct 2026, 19:08 UTC

Cian, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

For anyone considering Pulp Fiction: Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.
