Putting Your Name. on the weekend list. How much attention does it need on a first watch?

caoimhewalsh · 29 Oct 2026, 19:08 UTC

Ronan, a film-club style conversation afterwards could be good, even when people disagree.

Your Name. is one I am weighing up. Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.

oisin.doyle · 30 Oct 2026, 00:08 UTC

Eoin, yes, a spoiler-free discussion would be ideal. I am trying not to look too much up beforehand.

For anyone considering Your Name.: This is the sort of choice I might miss without someone putting it forward.
