Putting The Godfather on the weekend list. How much attention does it need on a first watch?

saoirseinmayo_119 · 25 Oct 2026, 12:08 UTC

Fionn, i am following this thread for exactly that reason. Happy to hear a few different opinions.

caoimhe.obrien · 25 Oct 2026, 03:08 UTC

The Godfather is one I am weighing up. Leaving a boost while I decide. The hard bit is narrowing the list down to just one.

Caoimhe, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

For anyone considering The Godfather: Would love to hear a different take too. The interesting picks are often the ones people split on.
