Some Like It Hot is on the shortlist now. Would people recommend subtitles over dubbing when there is a choice?

saoirse_brennan · 12 Oct 2026, 04:08 UTC

Tadhg, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

ronaninmayo · 11 Oct 2026, 19:08 UTC

Some Like It Hot is one I am weighing up. Could someone add a spoiler-free note about the opening? That is usually what helps me choose.

roisinreads_88 · 12 Oct 2026, 09:08 UTC

Ronan, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

For anyone considering Some Like It Hot: Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.
