What sort of mood would you be in for The Father? That often decides the evening more than a rating does.

ronan_flynn · 10 Oct 2026, 18:08 UTC

Cian, fair point. There is room for something a bit different in the next six.

The Father is one I am weighing up. Would love to hear a different take too. The interesting picks are often the ones people split on.

Cian, a film-club style conversation afterwards could be good, even when people disagree.

For anyone considering The Father: The description has me curious. I would rather know the mood than the whole plot.
