Portrait of a Lady on Fire looks promising for our next movie night. Does it get a conversation going afterwards?

grainnekennedy · 24 Oct 2026, 21:08 UTC

Cian, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire is one I am weighing up. This would be a good change of pace from the things currently at the top of my list.

darragh_oconnor · 25 Oct 2026, 02:08 UTC

Niamh, fair point. There is room for something a bit different in the next six.

For anyone considering Portrait of a Lady on Fire: A little more variety in the shortlist is always welcome. Glad this is in the pool.
