Synopsis

Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it's more like a vacation... until they're attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens' lives on the line, there's no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they're the island's only hope.

Trying to decide between My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and something shorter. Is the running time part of the appeal here?

ciaran_burke · 27 Oct 2026, 04:08 UTC

Conor, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

tadhgreads_68 · 26 Oct 2026, 19:08 UTC

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is one I am weighing up. Could someone add a spoiler-free note about the opening? That is usually what helps me choose.

sineadreads · 27 Oct 2026, 09:08 UTC

Tadhg, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

For anyone considering My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising: Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.
