Curious about The Kid. Would you call it a relaxed evening pick or something to save for the right mood?

orlamccarthy · 16 Oct 2026, 21:08 UTC

Aoife, fair point. There is room for something a bit different in the next six.

orlabyrne · 16 Oct 2026, 12:08 UTC

The Kid is one I am weighing up. Would love to hear a different take too. The interesting picks are often the ones people split on.

Orla, a film-club style conversation afterwards could be good, even when people disagree.

For anyone considering The Kid: The description has me curious. I would rather know the mood than the whole plot.
