What sort of mood would you be in for Capernaum? That often decides the evening more than a rating does.

sineadkeane · 10 Oct 2026, 04:08 UTC

Aisling, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

aisling.gallagher · 9 Oct 2026, 19:08 UTC

Capernaum is one I am weighing up. Could someone add a spoiler-free note about the opening? That is usually what helps me choose.

sinead_doyle · 10 Oct 2026, 09:08 UTC

Aisling, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

For anyone considering Capernaum: Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.
