The synopsis for Top Gun: Maverick has my attention. Is it best to go in knowing very little?

niamh.mccarthy · 26 Oct 2026, 17:08 UTC

Tadhg, yes, a spoiler-free discussion would be ideal. I am trying not to look too much up beforehand.

orlabyrne · 26 Oct 2026, 08:08 UTC

Top Gun: Maverick is one I am weighing up. A little more variety in the shortlist is always welcome. Glad this is in the pool.

eoinkennedy · 26 Oct 2026, 22:08 UTC

Orla, agreed on keeping the pitch short. I want a reason to try it without knowing every turn.

For anyone considering Top Gun: Maverick: The pitches in here are useful. A couple of lines about the tone can tell me more than a score.
