The Truman Show is on the shortlist now. Would people recommend subtitles over dubbing when there is a choice?

aisling.gallagher · 21 Oct 2026, 21:08 UTC

Oisin, that is what I like about a shortlist. It makes me stop endlessly browsing and actually choose.

conornolan · 21 Oct 2026, 12:08 UTC

The Truman Show is one I am weighing up. Could someone add a spoiler-free note about the opening? That is usually what helps me choose.

eoinwalsh · 22 Oct 2026, 02:08 UTC

Conor, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

For anyone considering The Truman Show: Keeping this on the list for a quieter evening rather than trying to squeeze it in.
