Trying to decide between Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion and something shorter. Is the running time part of the appeal here?

ronanreads · 10 Oct 2026, 02:08 UTC

Conor, yes, a spoiler-free discussion would be ideal. I am trying not to look too much up beforehand.

Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion is one I am weighing up. A little more variety in the shortlist is always welcome. Glad this is in the pool.

eoinreads_108 · 10 Oct 2026, 07:08 UTC

Darragh, agreed on keeping the pitch short. I want a reason to try it without knowing every turn.

For anyone considering Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion: The pitches in here are useful. A couple of lines about the tone can tell me more than a score.
