Synopsis

Tony Lip, a bouncer in 1962, is hired to drive pianist Don Shirley on a tour through the Deep South in the days when African Americans, forced to find alternate accommodations and services due to segregation laws below the Mason-Dixon Line, relied on a guide called The Negro Motorist Green Book.

Would Green Book be a good pick for a mixed group? Trying to find something that gives everyone a way into the conversation.

Caoimhe, that is a good way of choosing. I tend to match the pick to the evening as well.

Green Book is one I am weighing up. This would be a good change of pace from the things currently at the top of my list.

Cian, fair point. There is room for something a bit different in the next six.

For anyone considering Green Book: A little more variety in the shortlist is always welcome. Glad this is in the pool.
