The synopsis for Dune has my attention. Is it best to go in knowing very little?

ciaran_ryan · 23 Oct 2026, 12:08 UTC

Niamh, yes, a spoiler-free discussion would be ideal. I am trying not to look too much up beforehand.

oisin.doyle · 23 Oct 2026, 03:08 UTC

Dune is one I am weighing up. A little more variety in the shortlist is always welcome. Glad this is in the pool.

niamh.brennan · 23 Oct 2026, 17:08 UTC

Oisin, agreed on keeping the pitch short. I want a reason to try it without knowing every turn.

roisininwicklow · 23 Oct 2026, 07:08 UTC

For anyone considering Dune: The pitches in here are useful. A couple of lines about the tone can tell me more than a score.
